Hello! My name is Megan Westfahl and I am excited to be returning as the part-time PE teacher at Chisholm Trail. In addition to teaching at CTE I also teach PE at nearby Earhart Environmental Magnet.

I graduated from Wichita State University in 2010 with an Elementary Education Degree and began my teaching career as a 5^th grade teacher the following school year. After four years of teaching in the classroom and coaching Middle School track for Christa McAuliffe Academy, I decided to make the switch from classroom teacher to physical education teacher in order to be able to serve my passion for health and fitness instruction daily!

I’ve been teaching for ten years now and can say enthusiastically that “I love my job”! I will soon have my master’s degree in physical education through Emporia State and plan to continue teaching PE for many more years!

My family is an athletic and sports minded family as my husband is a high-school PE teacher and coach in Goddard and my kids are involved in sports year round!
