This is my 36th year teaching Physical Education and all 36 of them have been at Jefferson.  I am happy to say that I am priveledged to teach children of some of my former students.  I am excited for the opportunity to teach Jefferson students all about fitness and making healthy choices.  This will be my last year of teaching as I am retiring at the end of this school year.  I am excited to see what is next for me but I will miss my Jefferson Family.  And also.... Go Chiefs!!!

Physical Education is important to me because I want every student to live a healthy and active lifestyle. I strive to expose students to fundamental skills that they can use outside of PE class as well as exposing them to different games that they can take home and play with their families and friends. Outside of teaching, I enjoy running around with my dogs, playing pickle ball, and cheering on the University of Alabama football! I am looking forward to another great year with all of our students and I am excited to see them evolve into leaders!
