Welcome to the 2018-19 Cross Country season!
The season starts now! As spring sports and the 2017-18 school year comes to an end, we want you to continue building your strength base and getting excited for Cross Country season. Please take a few weeks to actually rest and reset. It is a time to settle your mind so that when we start getting together in June, you'll be anxious to get going. Work on strength training and building your core strength. If you need any tips, just email, text, or call me or Bookout. I am on a new fitness challenge of doing 100 body squats a day. I have recently added 40 push ups a day, but if you ask Bookout, challenge yourself to 50 burpees or more a day! Planks, single leg squats, single leg toe touches, and fire hydrants (hips) are all wonderful base building exercises.
Please see the announcements below for upcoming XC events!
I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

COMMUNICATION is KEY!
In an attempt to find the most effective way to communicate with parents and athletes, we will also be using the Remind Me app. This will message any phone that has signed up via text to our group. Instructions can also be found at the bottom of this page.
Text the number 81010 with the message @skinsxc and you will receive a message to join our group.
On a smart phone you can put this link into your web browser to sign up: rmd.at/skinsxc
I will update this page with announcements and have messages sent through Remind Me. Please have your athletes sign up or they may miss out on summer information!
If you have any questions, please check this page or reach out to the coaching staff. I look foward to working with you all this season! Go Redskins!
