Mrs. Carol Dunne
Principal
Hi! I am Carol Dunne, Principal at Seltzer Elementary School. Welcome to Seltzer Elementary, where we strive to make sure your child feels at home, when away from home!
I am from a small town in Kansas. I grew up on a farm, and to this day I love being outdoors in nature. I have two amazing children, Madelyn and Nicholas, and a wonderful husband, Brian. I got my teaching degree from Newman University and a Leadership Degree from Baker University.
I have taught Middle School Special Education, was a librarian, and then spent most of my teaching years at 4th and 5th grade. I was an Instructional Coach for several years before becoming an Administrator. I love what I do! Each day I strive to be a driving force of positivity and success for our students and staff. Seltzer Elementary is a great school, providing a rigorous, safe, and nurturing environment! I look forward to working with you and your family!

Mr. Quan Nguyen
Administrative Intern
My name is Quan Nguyen, an administrative intern at Seltzer Elementary with 12 years of experience in USD 259 and degrees in Elementary Education, ESOL, and Administration. Coming from a family who fled Communist Vietnam, I learned the importance of hard work and education in achieving dreams and aspirations. I pursued a career in education to empower students to achieve excellence and make a positive impact on their lives.
I believe every student deserves the opportunity to learn and achieve greatness, and as a leader my job is to cultivate a genuine passion for teaching. When teachers love to teach, they teach students to love to learn, and when students love to learn, I truly believe everything else will take care of itself.
In my personal life, I am happily married to my amazing wife, Mrs. Nguyen, and value the importance of a strong personal life to succeed professionally. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve at Seltzer Elementary School and look forward to making a positive impact on our students.
