• In-Person Enrollment is August 7 - 9

    The first day of school for all students is Wednesday, August 23 with a half-day orientation for 6th and 9th-grade students on Tuesday, August 22.

    New parents or parents who do not have a ParentVUE account are encouraged to set up an account at their child’s school during in-person enrollment August 7 - 9. All schools will have computers and assistance available during in-person enrollment for parents to access or set up their ParentVUE account.

    In-person enrollment is August 7 - 9. Besides enrolling, parents and students will receive school-specific information, including school supply lists, plus take photos for secondary student IDs.


    The Wichita Public Schools will have consistent enrollment times at all schools to make it convenient for parents who enroll multiple children at different schools. The enrollment times are:

    • Monday, August 7: Noon - 7 p.m.
    • Tuesday, August 8: Noon - 7 p.m.
    • Wednesday, August 9: Noon - 7 p.m.

    Parents who have an active ParentVue account are encouraged to enroll online. 


    Online enrollment for returning WPS parents with an active ParentVUE account is now available. Online enrollment is a convenient option for returning students to complete standard enrollment forms, see class schedules, approve policies, complete waivers and pay for enrollment fees and school meals online from a computer, tablet or smart phone.  Parents are encouraged to use this service and pay fees online in order to streamline the enrollment process. ParentVUE, https://parentvue.usd259.net, will be available on July 5.


    Online enrollment is also available in Spanish. Spanish-speaking parents can click on the Español button on the top right of the screen to see Spanish versions of all forms.


    Students who are eligible for transportation will receive bus stop information during the online enrollment process. Parents will be required to check whether their child will take the bus during the school year.
