Important Information

  • It is important for families to contact the nurse if their child is having medical problems that impact the school day. Only medicine that is prescribed by a doctor can be given at school. Please keep your contact information current, it is important that we able to reach a parent or guardian. 

     

    Regular school attendance is critical to the learning process. Please send a doctor's note or contact the office whenever your child is absent. When your child is ill, please keep him or her home so as not to expose the other students.

     

    The following are reasons to keep a child home:

    • Fever 100.4 or above, your child should be fever free for 24 hours without Tylenol or Ibuprofen.
    • Vomiting and diarrhea
    • Breathing issues, such as severe asthma, that are not controlled with normal medications
    • Pinkeye, draining, or red crusty eye until doctor has cleared
