Summer Programs
Click here for information about the high school summer programs
To create equitable opportunities for all families with limited funding, we will be offering elementary summer school at ten schools in areas of Wichita that currently do not offer summer programming such as Latchkey or STEALTH. Students at these ten schools – Beech, Cloud, Clark, Colvin, Harry Street, Kelly, Linwood, L’Ouverture, Mueller, Spaght and Pleasant Valley Elementary – will be invited to attend programs at Linwood or Spaght Elementary.
The goal this year is 3rd grade readiness, therefore, summer school will focus on Kindergarten - 2nd grade students who qualify for additional reading support. Students who are at the ten schools who qualify will receive invitations starting April 1. The enrollment window will be open until April 28.
Below are the Elementary Summer 2024 programs offered by the Wichita Public Schools.
