Welcome to the Interrelated Programs Page

  • Interrelated Programming

Interrelated Programs are intended to be for students with high-incidence disabilities whose needs are most often met with the least intensive interventions among the special education program continuum. Students served through Interrelated are typically identified as having a Specific Learning Disability, Other Health Impairment, Emotional Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, and Autism (although not only limited to students with these disabilities). Students in Interrelated Programs do not need a specialized program to make progress in the general education curriculum or their goals, but instead, their needs are usually met in their neighborhood school through less intense accommodations, modifications, and/or level of support.
