Mr. Chad Cushenbery, Building Principal
Chad Cushenbery is a dedicated and accomplished educational professional, holding both a master's degree and an undergraduate degree from Wichita State University. His journey within the Wichita Public School district has been marked by versatility and commitment. Starting as a science teacher, Mr. Cushenbery showcased his passion for education, eventually ascending to the role of an assistant principal. His leadership abilities were further recognized as he assumed the position of Building Principal at Hamilton Middle School, where he continues to steer the school toward academic excellence.

Ms. Brooke Dickey, 7th Grade Assistant Principal
Ms. Dickey is in her 2nd year as an assistant principal at Hamilton. She earned a master’s degree in School Leadership from Baker University and an undergraduate degree in English Language Arts Education from Friends University. Ms. Dickey taught Language Arts and AVID at Marshall Middle School. She enjoys working with middle school students and serving and growing our staff. Go Royals!

Mr. LeBaron Hollimon, 8th Grade Assistant Principal
LeBaron Hollimon is an accomplished educator and school leader holding a master's degree in School Leadership from Baker University and an undergraduate degree from Eastern Illinois University.
Mr. Hollimon's teaching experience includes positions at Jardine Middle School and Curtis Middle School, where he made a positive impact on students' lives as a Science Teacher. His commitment to education and leadership skills were further demonstrated as he previously assumed the role of Assistant Principal at Mead Middle School. Currently, he is serving as the Assistant Principal for the 7th-grade class at Hamilton Middle School and where he continues to contribute his expertise to the educational community by creating an environment that improves both personal and academic growth for students.

Mr. Jose Martinez, Dean of Student Intervention and Family Engagement
Mr. Jose Martinez is currently in the final stages of his Doctor of Education journey, specializing in Education Policy, Organization And Leadership at the University of Illinois At Urbana-Champaign. His educational accomplishments include earning a Building Leadership Endorsement from Fort Hays University in December 2022, a Special Education Endorsement from Emporia State University in May 2017, a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from Southwestern University in May 2016, and a Bachelor of Arts in Global and International Studies from The University of Kansas in May 2012.
With a decade of experience in secondary special education, Mr. Martinez has played diverse roles, evolving from a dedicated Special Education Teacher to a dynamic Special Education Department Chair and Special Education Instructional Coach. Jose currently serves as Dean of Student Behavior Intervention, Family Engagement and 6th Grade Administrative Intern.

Mrs. Stacy Malicoat, MTSS Coach
Ms. Malicoat is the Instructional Coach at Hamilton. This is her 30th year in Wichita Public Schools, including 18 years as an Instructional Coach. She holds a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Wichita State University and professional licensure in School Leadership from Baker University, English for Speakers of Other Languages from Kansas State University, and Elementary Education and English Language Arts from Wichita State University.
Throughout her teaching career, Ms. Malicoat has held positions at Mead Middle School, Black Bear Bosin Academy, and Jardine STEM and Career Explorations Academy, where she taught Language Arts, Social Studies, and Literacy Interventions. She has also served as the Instructional Coach at Mead Middle School, Marshall Middle School, and Jardine STEM and Career Explorations Academy.
Ms. Malicoat is passionate about partnering with teachers to help them excel for the benefit of their students. She is committed to professional growth, excellence, and continuous improvement in the Hamilton school community.
Outside of her professional life, Ms. Malicoat enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, cooking, and reading.

Ms. Hannah Schaake, Instructional Tech Specialist
Ms. Schaake started at Hamilton in August 2019. She enjoys reading and traveling in her spare time.
