Welcome to the USD 259 Truancy Office. The office answers questions regarding Kansas Statutes and Board of Education Policies on attendance and truancy matters. Many of you will contact your student's school on the same questions, but I am also available to assist with your questions and concerns. This office reviews all truancy documents and then refers the student to either the Department of Children and Families or the District Attorney's Office for truancy.
