Leave Programs

Short-term disability is provided to employees working 20 hours or more at no cost. Medical leave, short-term disability, FMLA, maternity leave, and parental leaves are all managed internally by our own subject matter experts.

We have a robust program offering free counseling, work-life services, and financial wellness for employees and all household members.

Bereavement Support

Our free program with Empathy is available to all employees to assist with grief and provide practical support following the loss of a loved one or when anticipating the loss of a terminally ill family member.

Catastrophic Benefit

Benefitted employees who donate one day of sick leave to the catastrophic benefit pool are able to be paid the equivalent of 20 days per school year if their leave falls into unpaid status due to a qualifying medical event.

Worker's Compensation

Your claim will not be outsourced and will be handled internally by our own claims adjusters. All incidents should be reported to Employee Benefits immediately but no less than 24 hours of the incident. Incidents reported after 30 days are not compensable by state law.
