Tommy's Fund
Started more than 30 years ago by Tom Guild, a former WPS student, who became an attorney, and professor of law in Oklahoma, Tommy’s Fund exists to support students with basic needs, including clothing, shoes, and other household supplies.
A program that started at Payne Elementary, has now expanded to all Wichita elementary schools, Tommy’s Fund ensures all students have the tools they need to thrive.

Love Schools
Using a one size fits one approach, we meet each school where they are and walk alongside them to reach their goals. Love Schools is currently a program in 14 elementary schools and 1 middle schools.
Love Schools meets with school leaders, who share their needs and goals, and then our staff go into the community to find a financial partner, making a gift of at least $10,000, and 3-5 community partners sharing their time and talents. Then, they work together all year long to achieve their goals and walk alongside school staff and students.
You Make a Difference
Because of the generosity of people like you, we are able to provide students with college and career readiness programs, hands-on experiences in fine arts and athletics, plus grants to classroom teachers for innovative projects to enhance student learning. These impactful programs include: The Wichita Public Schools Legacy Fund Golf Classic; and Education Edge and Koch Classroom Grants.
