• Get help with Homework Hotline!

Homework Hotline graphic The Wichita Public Schools offers support for students at all grade levels. Students who have questions about their assignments, as well as parents who need support while helping their child at home, can call or email the Homework Hotline. There are certified WPS teachers who can answer questions on any elementary assignment and provide support for middle and high school math, language arts, social studies, science and Spanish assignments, along with support for special education and ESOL.

Help is provided in English, Spanish and Arabic.

The Homework Hotline is open Monday through Thursday from 3:30 – 7:30 p.m. Homework Hotline will begin Monday, August 28, for the 23-24 school year.

Call for help: 973-4411 or email homework@usd259.net. Staff will provide help over the phone or in Teams for face-to-face interaction.

    In addition, Homework Hotline can:

    • help younger students with their nightly read-aloud homework
    • help younger students practice math facts
    • work with groups of students on projects and/or give them access to monitored break-out rooms in Teams so students can work together.
