SAEBRS
SAEBRS – Teachers of grades Kindergarten through 12th grade complete the SAEBRS teacher screener two times each school year (October and February). The SAEBRS is a 19-item universal screener that is made up of three domains including Social Behavior, Academic Behavior, and Emotional Behavior. The results from the screener are utilized to support students by determining early intervention needs.
mySAEBRS – Students in grades 3rd-12th complete the mySAEBRS student screener one time each school year (August). The mySAEBRS student screener is a 20-item rating scale that students self-report their well-being in the areas of Social Behavior, Academic Behavior, and Emotional Behavior. The results from the screener are utilized to ensure student needs are being met.
The mySAEBRS student screener is quick to administer. It takes approximately one to three minutes for students to complete. The questions students are asked are listed below.
Educators utilize the data from the SAEBRS and mySAEBRS screeners to identify the most appropriate instructional and classroom supports for all students. Universal screening tools can show patterns among larger groups of students and inform planning for whole class practices and intervention.
