Safety and Belonging
As part of Wichita Public Schools’ Strategic Plan, we are committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment where every student feels valued and connected. This goal is essential because students thrive when they feel secure and included.
Why We’re Asking for Your Input
Every year, we will conduct a Safety and Belonging Survey to understand how students feel in their school community. Your child’s feedback helps us:
- Identify strengths and areas for improvement
- Shape strategies that meet students’ needs
Why It Matters Every Year
Continuing this survey annually allows us to:
- Track progress and measure the impact of our efforts
- Stay accountable and transparent with families
- Adjust strategies as students’ needs evolve
Together, we can make every school a place where your child feels safe and supported.
