September is National Suicide Prevention Month.
Throughout the month of September, mental health professionals and mental health organizations bring awareness to this very important topic. Efforts are dedicated to ensuring that everyone has access to the resources they need to seek help.
Suicidal thoughts can affect anyone regardless of gender, race, age, upbringing, education level, ethnicity, or other demographic, lifestyle, or socio-economic factors.
The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is available 24/7 across the United States. If you need support or someone to talk to, this support is available through text or chat.

This word cloud represents results from the Summer 2021 district survey. Nearly 18,500 staff, students and parents gave input regarding priorities for the 21-22 school year. Of those responses, mental health services and supports were among the top priorities.
