  • Today is Wednesday, October 17, 2018!

    Your choices for lunch are Rice Bowl with Steak or Tempura Chicken. Have your ID & selection ready. Any students without an ID will need to wait until the last 10 minutes.

    Attention any male student planning on trying out for the basketball team this year. There will be a required tryout meeting today at 2:30 in the auditorium. This includes anyone currently participating in a fall sport. You will be released with the first passing bell in 9th hour. If you are unable to attend this meeting, you must see Coach Hill in room D6 by Wednesday, October 24th to get the information needed in order to tryout. See Coach Hill if you have any questions. 

    Attention any student interested in being a manager for the boys basketball team this season. There will be a meeting on today at 2:50 in the auditorium. You will be released with the second passing bell in 9th hour. See Coach Hill if you have any questions.

    Tomorrow, Emporia State and Pratt Community College will be here to visit with interested students on during Advocacy.  Please see Ms. Paschal for a pass!

    Lunch and Learn is tomorrow during 1st lunch.  We will have speakers from the law profession.  Remember, this event is eligible for COTY points! Please see Ms. Paschal for a pass.

    Seniors wanting second semester pass cards:  You will need to fill out a Senior Pass Card Application.  Senior English teachers have applications or you may stop by the counseling office and pick one up.  All Pass Card Applications and schedule changes must be completed and turned in to Mr. Gerstner by Friday, November 30th.

    Bear Buddies are selling those amazing royal blue and yellow T-shirts you saw at their soccer game last week! Long sleeve is $15 and short sleeve is $12. Order forms are in pupil services. Please return to your order and money before Oct. 31st to Ms. Harvey in room B4 or Mrs. Firestone in room C2. Thank you for supporting your Northwest Bear Buddies!

    Yesterday Junior Parker Hoopes fired a 92 to finish 21st out of 92 contestants in the 2018 5A Girls State Golf Championships!  Parker, is this years GWAL Individual Champion was the low golfer from all City League Schools. If you see Parker in the halls today tell her congratulations! Things are looking good for Parker as she prepares for her Senior Season.
