Wichita Public Schools Nutrition Services Feeds Thousands of Students Every School Day!

Nutrition Services Logo

Nutrition Services supports student learning by providing nutritious, well-balanced meals according to federal, state and district regulations while maintaining a self-supporting program.

Nutrition Services provides breakfasts, lunches and snacks to students from grades Pre-K to 12th as well as infant and toddlers in Child Development Centers. Nutrition Services operates many programs under the USDA Child Nutrition umbrella: National School Lunch and Breakfast Program, Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program, Child and Adult Care Food Program and Summer Food Program.

Nutrition Services operates a Central Production Kitchen, located at the School Service Center, that produces and delivers food to 60 schools.  The Central Warehouse orders and delivers to 22 schools, where meals are prepared on-site. We serve around 8.5 million meals each school year!
