Tim Hamblin

Tim Hamblin joined Wichita Public Schools in 2023 as the Executive Director of College and Career Readiness.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree  from Kansas State University, a Master's in Building Leadership from Baker University, and has a District Level Endorsement from Fort Hays State University.  He has 29 years of experience in education and 20 years in administration.  His areas of responsibility include:

Cathy Mong

Cathy Mong has been with Wichita Public Schools since 2001.  After earning her bachelors and master’s from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, she worked in banking, mortgage lending, and the fashion industry before starting her teaching career in Fort Worth Public Schools.  Her current areas of responsibility include:

Laura Barker

Laura Barker has been working to help make Wichita Public School students future ready since 2012.  After spending several years at the post-secondary level, she returned to Emporia State University to get her masters degree in school counseling.  This change allowed her to work with a younger population, helping students create their own unique road maps for success. Her areas of responsibility include:

Chris Shetlar

Chris Shetlar joined Wichita Public Schools in 2023. He graduated from Pittsburg State University with a degree in Industrial Technology Education, and Baker University with a Master’s degree in School Leadership. Chris has 18 years of experience teaching Career and Technical Education at the High School level. The pathways and programs he supports include:

Mandy Bredehoft

Mandy Bredehoft began her teaching career in Wichita Public Schools in August of 2005. She graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Business Education and a masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in ESOL. She also has her masters in School Counseling from Fort Hays State University. She was a high school business and computer teacher at Wichita Southeast for 8 years and Wichita West for 6 years. She spent 3 years at Hamilton Middle School as the data leader. Her current areas of responsibility include:

Eric Shipman

Eric Shipman joined Wichita Public Schools in 2023 as the principal at the Future Ready Centers.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University, a Master's degree in Building Leadership from Emporia State University, a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Emporia State University, and is currently completing a District Level Endorsement from Newman University.  Eric has previously worked in Clearwater and Junction City School districts as a teacher and principal.
