Why did you decide to become a principal? 

I decided to become a principal because I have a passion for leadership and education, and a desire to always do what is best for kids.

What is the best thing about working with kids?

The best thing about working with the students at Isely is when I witness the “Aha” moments in the classrooms and when I learn new things about them. To see growth happen for all kids and adults makes me smile!

What is your favorite part of the day at school?

My favorite part of the school day is getting to greet the students when they first enter the building each day. I love the ability to set the tone for the day by greeting them with a “Good Morning…..have a great day”!

What makes you smile?

Getting to see Isely students’ sense of humor. I love seeing their personalities blossom!

What is a little known fact about you?

I once climbed a 14 thousand foot peak in Colorado.

Why did you decide to become a principal?

I decided to become a principal because I enjoy helping others and have a heart for educating the whole child. As a principal, I get to help both staff and students/their families - it's the best of both worlds!

What is the best thing about working with kids? 

The best thing about working with students is watching them grow each day. Staff members pland and nurture the seeds of knowledge that will continue to grow forever.

What is your favorite part of the day at school?

Arrival! I look forward to greeting students each morning as they arrive. I also look forward to lunch/recess as this is the perfect time to get to know more about our students.

What makes you laugh/smile?

Our students make me laugh/smile! I love to see them learning and interacting with each other. I also love a good dad joke.

What is a little known fact about you?

I have a rescue dog that I am really fond of!

Why did you decide to become a principal?

I have a passion for education and leadership to support, guide, and sustain the best quality school staff to do what’s best for kids. Being in an administrative role provides the opportunity to make an impact with adults who impact kids in a broader spectrum.

What is the best thing about working with kids?

Witnessing their growth and development as they learn knew skills and mature. It’s amazing to see the progress they display throughout their schooling. School personnel can truly leave lasting impressions on the students and families they serve.

What is your favorite part of the day at school?

Arrival! I enjoy greeting students as they walk into school and being able to start their day with a positive and welcoming interaction each morning.

What makes you laugh/smile?

Seeing students different personalities and sense of humor. 😊

What is a little known fact about you?

If I didn’t go into education, I wanted to become a pediatrician.
