The Wichita Board of Education approved a change in the learning model for the second nine weeks for middle and high school students utilizing a Blended Onsite/MySchool Remote model for students who selected onsite learning at enrollment. There are no changes to the elementary learning options for the second nine-weeks.

On Oct. 9, the district held the inaugural Legacy Fund Golf Classic at Crestview Country Club, presented by Credit Union of America. The event raised more than $85,000 for the WPS Legacy Fund, supporting the Early College Academy at Northwest High School, a partnership with Friends University.
