BOE approved boundary change from Southeast to Heights
In an effort to ease overcrowding issues at Southeast High School, Board of Education members approved a boundary change for high school students residing in the most northwestern portion of the current Southeast boundary. The area encompasses portions of Adams, College Hill, Jackson and Price-Harris eleentar boundaries that currently feed into Coleman Middle School and Southeast High School.
Beginning in the 2023-24 school year, high school students residing in this area will be assigned to Heights. All students currently at Southeast during the 2022-23 school year will be allowed to attend Southeast if they choose to remain through graduation.
The proposed change is for high school students only and would NOT impact any elementary or middle school boundaries.
