Employee reporting requirements for Friday, Oct. 15 and Monday, Oct. 18

Friday, October 15 is a non-teaching duty day and the end of the first nine-week grading period. Below are the employee reporting requirements for October 15 and October 18.

Friday, October 15

  • Teachers who have grades completed and confirmed by the principal on Thursday, October 14 do not have to report on Friday October 15.
  • Teachers who do NOT have grades completed and confirmed by the principal WILL report on Friday, October 15 to complete their grades and have them confirmed by their principal.
  • Certified staff working on a teaching contract who do not submit grades but who have all IEP paperwork or training materials completed by Thursday, October 14 do not have to report on Friday, October 15.
  • Certified staff working on a teaching contract who do not submit grades but do NOT have all IEP paperwork or training materials completed, must report on Friday, October 15 to complete required paperwork and assignments.
  • Permanent Benefitted Paras, Assistant Paras, and Library Clerks will clock 3.5 hours or (½ their scheduled hours if less than 7 hours a day) and may leave after working 3.5 hours and will be paid for the remainder of the day per the MOU. The non-teaching duty day for October 15, 2021 and December 17, 2021 will be paid on Monday, December 20, 2021. The non-teaching duty day pay for March 11, 2022 and May 26, 2022 will be paid on Tuesday, December 21, 2021.
  • Temporary employees and substitutes (guest staff) DO NOT report for work since school is not in session.
  • All other permanent benefitted classified and administrative staff work the full day per the appropriate work calendar.

 

Monday, October 18 is a District In-Service Day. 

  • Staff should report to In-Service as directed by their building administrator or manager.
  • Substitutes and temporary staff do not report for District In-Service.
