Wichita Public Schools to host in-person graduation ceremonies in July
The Wichita Public Schools will host traditional cap and gown commencement ceremonies on July 25 and 26 at Intrust Bank Arena and Century II.
Friday, July 24
7 p.m. – Chisholm Life Skills/Dunlap at Northeast Magnet High School Auditorium
7 p.m. – Levy Special Education Center at The ARC of Sedgwick County
7 p.m. – Sowers Alternative High School, Alvin Morris Administrative Center Multipurpose Room, 903 S. Edgemoor
Saturday, July 25 Intrust Bank Arena 11 a.m. – Southeast High School 3 p.m. – Northwest High School 7 p.m. – South High School |

Principals will share more information with their students.
The events will be guided by public health protocols in place at the time of our graduation events. We will monitor carefully and take all necessary precautions to maximize the safety and well-being of students, staff, parents, and those who may want to attend and support our Class of 2020.
“Our seniors told us two things: they want something to happen in May to celebrate, and they want a traditional cap and gown event that should happen before the beginning of August,” said Superintendent Dr. Alicia Thompson.
