Assistance League awards scholarships to seniors

Eighteen WPS students received scholarships from the Assistance League of Wichita at a luncheon on April 24.

The scholarships focus on students who plan to continue their technical training at WSU Tech and Butler Community College.

North High School senior Katie Blessman was named the recipient of the Cochener Foundation Nursing Scholarship, which is granted annually in memory of ALW founding member Nancy Cochener.
