WPS teachers receive classroom grants

East High teachers receive a Credit Union of America grantCredit Union of America (CUA) has awarded several Wichita Public Schools teachers Teach, Grow, and Inspire the Future (TGIF) classroom grants.

Originating in 2000, more than $436,000 has been directed to classroom needs since the program’s inception.

Recipients submit an application that details their classroom project. A blind review of the applications is held by a team of CUA staff and retired school personnel.
