How Levy is Affected by the Board Decision to Move to Remote Learning

What does the Board decision for the district to go fully remote mean for Levy? It means that all elementary students will be remote December 2 and 3 to allow IEP teams to make decisions regarding what services can and cannot be met remotely. For any services that cannot be met remotely, teams will develop a temporary service plan. Secondary students currently being served in person through a temporary service plan will return in person on Wednesday, Dec. 2, meaning our school building only be open for onsite learning for students with a current temporary service plan as a result of complications from the public health crisis caused by COVID-19. The Board of Education will evaluate COVID data at its meeting on Jan. 11, 2021, to determine when we will be able to bring the rest of our onsite students back to our school.
