Becky Lewis (rlewis@wichita.gov, 316-303-8702) at the City of Wichita’s Water Resource & Recovery Division has a summer internship available for any students that might be interested in a STEM career or a career in public service. The internship will give the student a wide variety of experiences in the public service and water resource recovery arena. Previous interns have helped in the lab, went out on regulatory check-ups, took samples, worked across the treatment plant facility, and were mentored by various staff members in a variety of departments.
