Congratulations to Gracyn Keenan for placing 7th and Giani Benoit for placing 1st at the City League Diving Championship last night. Giani beat the school record again last night with a score of 465.55.

Make sure to come out to Heights High School tonight to support our swimmers as they compete in the City League Championship. The meet begins at 5:30 pm.

A few important yearbook deadlines are coming up. First, if you or your parents want to purchase a recognition ad in the back of the book, the final deadline for submitting materials is February 9. These ads are an especially great way to customize a spot for photos of a senior, but ads may be purchased for students of any grade. The second deadline is for buying yearbooks. We will be turning in our final yearbook order this month, so you will not be guaranteed a copy after the order is placed. Finally, the price for a yearbook will increase to $65 after February 18, so make sure you get in on the lower price.

There will be a boys' golf meeting during Advocacy today.  If you’re interested in playing golf, please join Coach Martens in C-14 at the release bell.  See you there!

Just a reminder to those that signed up for the ACT your test date is Saturday, February 11th.

Do you plan to have a career in Aircraft, engineering, or business in the future? Looking for a paid internship this summer? Stop by A-24 to speak with Ms. Jones about a Paid internship this summer or check out the posters in front of pupil services. Spots are limited.

Northwest Varsity Scholars Bowl will be headed to State next week after qualifying at Regionals last night. Congratulations Scholars and good luck! Gabe Brown, Brayden Hoang, William Logan, John Robertson, and Trevor Bryant will be representing Northwest in Topeka.

The boy bowlers dominated the South High Invitational Tournament yesterday!  Freshman Noah Gibson defeated Freshman Josh Ingram in the final head-to-head match to win the tournament! Seniors Cameron Nelson, Tyler Smalley, and Ayden Charlier all made match play and medaled in the top 15.  Tyler Smalley finished 5th overall and Ayden Charlier placed second in the qualifying round shooting another 700 series.

The lady grizzly bowlers had a great day as well.  Avery Schippers destroyed the competition in the South Invitational Match Play Tournament and bowled 244 in the final match to win the tournament! Kalee Stockstill also placed 10th and Kashi Stallings 11th.

Great job, Grizzlies!  Senior night is next Tuesday at West Acres. Come out and celebrate a group of seniors that have won City, Regional, and State Championships.

Now please stand for the pledge. Tea
